April 22, 2009 General Meeting Minutes

The 22 April meeting was a general business meeting to review the goals and status of the association, to solicit member inputs and to encourage more participation.  In addition to help needed on several committees, there are board openings for a secretary and others.  Clearly the effort needed for the group’s goals is exceeding the current hands available!!  

It was also announced the association had just been awarded a $2413 CAP grant from the city for the coming year, although details were not yet known.  Performing on that grant will undoubtedly increase the staff needed.  All were encouraged to become more active in the association as it pursues its goals!
